01. Respect canon. We are not canon nazis, and while we'll let small things slide, we don't want to see Slytherins skipping down the yellow brick road with their Gryffindor mates. Please be realistic.
02. Apply for one character at a time. You can have up to two characters, as long as they aren't characters who have to interact with each other a lot. Please don't attempt to play James Potter AND Sirius Black, or James Potter AND Severus Snape.
03. Be active! It's not fair to the rest of the players if you're never around to participate in important plots. Please try to post in your character's journal at least once a week, and participate in threads or logs at least twice a week. If you're busy or won't have access to a computer, let the mods know.
04. Don't start drama with other members. Let's keep it friendly!
05. Occasional intimacy is fine, but remember to develop solid relationships and be realistic. This RPG is not a dating game. Please don't hook up with dozens of characters and flood the community with smut. Not everyone in Hogwarts is going to be sex-crazed or gay. Relationships that upset canon events will not be tolerated. Incest in any form is banned.
06. Be detailed in your writing. Part of the objective in roleplaying is to improve your writing skills. One or two sentence replies are not fun. Quality and quantity are both important! Also pay attention to your spelling and grammar.
07. All threads and logs should be placed behind an lj-cut with WHO, WHAT, WHERE intros, and appropriate warnings.
08. Don't god-mod! You control your character, and your character alone.
09. Mary Sues are not allowed. Your character's flaws should be clear in your application, and you should remember these flaws while roleplaying.
10. The mods reserve the right to change these rules as they see fit. If problems arise, they reserve the right to remove players from this community.
